In July of 2014 the New Yorker decided to re-launch their website using WordPress as their content management system. During this time we were finishing up preliminary development on Conductor and were getting ready to enter our beta testing period. We thought to ourselves: “wouldn’t it be great to show the power of Conductor by replicating the home page of the new New Yorker website?”. That’s what we set out to do in this webinar.

Reusable CSS Classes

We knew that we’d have to extend Conductor in order to fully replicate the New Yorker. For this we created reusable CSS classes that could be applied to many Conductor Widgets at once allowing those widgets to be styled accordingly based on the section of the site that we were replicating.
